Just had anti-wrinkle injections? Here is everything you need for the next two weeks, so your result settles evenly and you know exactly what is normal.
In the video, Bina, one of our nurses, talks you through it. Everything she covers is written out below so you can come back to it.
Your aftercare, step by step
First 4 hours
Stay upright: no lying down, bending over for long or heavy lifting. Don't rub, massage or press the treated areas, and keep hats, headbands and tight goggles off your forehead. Skip make-up on the injection points. Gently using the treated muscles (frowning, raising your brows) every so often is fine.
First 24 hours
No alcohol, exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, hot yoga or sunbeds. Small bumps and redness at the injection points are normal and usually go within an hour or two. Avoid facials, face massage and treatments on the area.
Days 2 to 7
You can go back to normal skincare and exercise. Avoid facials, microneedling, peels and face massage for 7 days. A mild headache is common on day one or two; paracetamol is fine unless you have been told not to take it.
Days 3 to 14
The effect builds gradually from around day 3 to 5 and settles fully by day 14. One side can kick in a day or two before the other. Please don't judge the result, or book anything else for the face, before day 14.

This is general aftercare information. Always follow any specific advice your clinician gave you on the day. If you were treated at another clinic, contact them first, as products and techniques vary.
Results vary from person to person. Every treatment starts with a consultation with a registered clinician.
