Always Told You Look Tired? Miss B Explains Under-Eye Boosters in Brentwood

1 October 2026 · 3 min read

If friends and colleagues keep telling you that you look tired, even after a good night's sleep, you are not alone. In this video, Miss B, our AI treatment guide, explains under-eye boosters over real footage from our Kings Road clinic. Below, we cover what the treatment is, how it feels, what is normal afterwards and why we always check suitability first.

The presenter in this video, Miss B, is AI-generated. The treatment footage is real and used with consent.

What is an under-eye booster?

In Miss B's words: "An under-eye booster is a tiny amount of hydration, placed very carefully under the eye."

The skin under the eyes is thin and delicate, which is one reason it can look tired, dull or crepey. An under-eye booster places very small amounts of a hydrating product, often based on hyaluronic acid, into this area. The aim is to improve hydration and the look of the skin, rather than to change the shape of the eye area.

It is a subtle treatment. As Miss B puts it: "And no, it won't make you look surprised."

Why suitability matters so much under the eyes

A tired look under the eyes can have many causes, including genetics, skin thinning, pigmentation, puffiness, lifestyle and the natural structure of the face. Not all of these will respond to an under-eye booster.

That is why Miss B says plainly: "Not everyone's suitable, so we always check properly first." At your consultation, a practitioner from our nurse-led team will look at the area, ask about your medical history and explain whether an under-eye booster is likely to help. If it is not right for you, they will tell you, and they may suggest a different approach. Aesthetic treatments are for adults aged 18 and over.

What happens at your appointment

The footage in this video shows a real under-eye booster treatment, including numbing cream, needle entry points and mild redness as filmed.

  1. Consultation and assessment. Your practitioner checks suitability and explains what the treatment can and cannot do.
  2. Numbing cream. The area is prepared and numbing cream is applied.
  3. Careful placement. Tiny amounts are placed very carefully under the eye.
  4. Aftercare advice. Before you leave, your practitioner explains what to expect over the next few days.

Does it hurt?

Miss B answers this one directly: "A little sting, a bit of pressure... and it's over quicker than you'd think." Everyone's experience is different, and your practitioner will check in with you during the treatment.

After your treatment

"You might get a small bruise or some puffiness for a few days. That settles." Because the under-eye skin is so delicate, small bruises and puffiness are among the most common short-lived effects. Mild redness at the entry points is also normal.

Your practitioner will talk you through aftercare before you leave. If anything worries you after your appointment, contact the clinic. Results vary, and some people are advised to have more than one session. Your practitioner will explain what is realistic for you.

Common questions

Is an under-eye booster the same as under-eye filler?

They are different. An under-eye booster focuses on hydration and skin quality using tiny amounts, rather than adding volume or structure. Your practitioner can explain which, if either, may be suitable for you.

Will it get rid of dark circles?

It depends on what is causing them. Some causes of a tired look will not respond to a booster, which is why we assess the area properly first. Results vary.

How long is the treatment?

The treatment itself is quick. As Miss B says, it is over quicker than most people expect. Allow extra time for your consultation and numbing.

Is Miss B one of the nurses?

No. Miss B is our AI-generated treatment guide and is not a real person or a nurse. Treatments are carried out by qualified practitioners from our nurse-led team.
