65Academy 12-Week Aesthetic Nursing Level 5 Course
Welcome to 65Academy's comprehensive 12-week Aesthetic Nursing Course, based in London. Designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to excel in aesthetic nursing, this course culminates in a Level 5 Aesthetics Nurse qualification.

The course is structured into six modules, each focusing on different aspects of aesthetic nursing. With hands-on training, theoretical understanding, and practical assessments, this programme ensures you are well-prepared to enter the dynamic field of aesthetic nursing.

Week 1-2: Basic Introduction to Aesthetic Nursing
In the first two weeks, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of aesthetic nursing. This module covers:
Understanding aesthetics and its importance in healthcare.
Health and safety measures essential for clinical practice.
Basic facial anatomy and product recognition.
Bedside manners and customer journey through the clinic.
Week 3-4: Botox Treatments and Advanced Procedures
Weeks three and four focus on Botox treatments, both basic and advanced. You will receive hands-on training and complete a written assignment, featuring a fictional client requiring Botox, including extensive treatment notes.

Week 5-6: Fillers and Fat Dissolving Techniques
In this module, you will learn about fillers and fat dissolving techniques, including lip enhancements and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures. A 500-word dilation assignment involving a fictional client requiring fillers will also be required.
Week 7-8: Ultrasound, Radio Frequency, and Skin Boosters
These weeks cover the use of ultrasound and radio frequency techniques for skin tightening and body contouring. Additionally, you will learn about skin boosters and medical treatments for acne and other skin issues. Theoretical understanding of the Point of Sale (POS) system is included.

Week 9-10: Client Handling and Filler Dissolution
You will learn how to handle a variety of clients, including nervous, outspoken, and demanding ones. The module also includes a demonstration of dissolving fillers before new treatments are performed.
Week 11-12: Final Assessment and Clinic Management
The final two weeks involve running a busy clinic with more than 10 back-to-back appointments. You will demonstrate safe injection procedures, equipment disposal, and clinic setup and maintenance. The course concludes with multiple-choice exams covering all products, treatments, and basic facial anatomy.
