Why do I even need CQC registration? +
If you prescribe, perform minor surgical procedures, or operate certain regulated activities, CQC registration is a legal requirement in England. Operating without it risks fines, prosecution, and reputational damage — and increasingly, insurers and pharmacies will refuse to supply you.

How is the umbrella different from doing it myself? +

Will I still own my clinic and brand? +

What happens if I get an unannounced inspection? +

Can I leave the umbrella later? +
Yes. With 90 days' notice you can de-register or transfer to your own standalone CQC registration. We'll help you with the handover.
